Yorkshire Golf College offers aspiring golfers aged 16–18 the opportunity to combine their education with a high-performance golf development programme.

Based at Yorkshire Golf Academy, Waterton Park, our programme brings together expert PGA coaching, cutting-edge technology, strength and conditioning, sports psychology and competitive golf, all within an environment designed to help young players reach their potential.

Education Meets Elite Golf Development

Delivered in conjunction with Wakefield College, students can study towards either:

• Level 3 BTEC Sport

• Level 3 BTEC Sport & Exercise Science

The two-year Extended Diploma programme is equivalent to three A Levels, allowing students to achieve recognised academic qualifications while pursuing their golfing ambitions.

ATHLETE – Improve strength, mobility, speed and physical performance through specialist strength and conditioning programmes.

GOLFER – Develop your technical, tactical and mental game through expert coaching, TrackMan technology, performance analysis and competitive opportunities.

Learn From Experienced Professionals

Our specialist team includes PGA Professionals Phil Akers, Scott McGovern and Henry Taylor, alongside former DP World Tour player Chris Hanson, mental performance coach Laura Scott and strength and conditioning specialist Rachael Smith.

Students benefit from access to three TrackMan launch monitors, excellent practice facilities and a dedicated team committed to their development.
